Hidden Gems: Meet Rebecca Feltmann of Helper B, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Feltmann.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My path into this work was born from both professional experience and personal transformation.

I began my career as a Registered Nurse and carry almost three decades of experience in healthcare; today, my work has evolved into holistic health practice that integrates mind, body, and spirit approaches to healing, shaped by both my clinical training but also the lived experiences which have proven to be some of my greatest teachers.

From an early age, I became intimately familiar with grief, uncertainty, and resilience. My mother struggled with addiction and other mental health challenges throughout much of my life, often leaving her unable to be present. As a result, I grew up navigating many questions about belonging, connection, and what it truly means to feel supported and cared for. Frequent relocations throughout my childhood only deepened that sense of instability, teaching me early on what it feels like to search for home, community, and a place where one feels fully seen and accepted.

Those experiences deeply shaped me and later influenced my own journey into motherhood. Without a clear model of what motherhood looked like, becoming a mother myself required tremendous growth, healing, and self-discovery.

The big shift in my work would come in 2016, as I found myself navigating one of the most profound seasons of my life—pregnant with my first child while grieving the loss of my sister to suicide. The emotional weight of that experience, coupled with a traumatic birth, forever changed my understanding of the connection between physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Yet the seeds of that understanding had been planted long before. Growing up with an often-absent parent struggling with addiction and mental health challenges, experiencing frequent moves throughout childhood, and enduring significant losses—including the death of my first love shortly after high school—had immersed me in grief, uncertainty, and resilience from an early age. Though I could not have known it at the time, these experiences were shaping the compassion, perspective, and deep respect for the human healing journey that would later become the foundation of my work. Together, they profoundly influenced the way I view health, healing, and the support people need during life’s most difficult seasons.

Witnessing both my own challenges and the struggles of those around me has given me a deep appreciation for the many ways people navigate hardship. I have seen remarkable resilience, heartbreak, courage, growth, and transformation. It is one of the reasons I consider it such an honor to meet people exactly where they are, without judgment, and to walk alongside them as they navigate their own unique path.

These experiences taught me that healing is rarely linear and that true wellness involves far more than addressing physical symptoms alone. I began seeking approaches that honored the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—which eventually led me to study Classical Homeopathy, Bach® Flower Essences, Compassionate Bereavement Care®, Holistic Health Astrology, somatic practices, and other integrative healing modalities.

Today, through Helper B, LLC, I support individuals navigating grief, trauma, major life transitions, chronic illness, hormonal challenges, and the many seasons of becoming who they are meant to be.

My work is rooted in the belief that healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. It is a privilege to walk alongside others offering collaborative care as they reconnect with their own inner wisdom, resilience, and capacity for healing.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth road.

Like many others, I have faced the uncertainty of building a business while raising a young family, managing responsibilities, and learning countless new skills that were never taught in nursing school, all while still working on my own healing journey. There have been moments of self-doubt, many challenges, and the vulnerability that comes with creating something deeply personal.

Professionally, one of the greatest challenges has been helping people understand that meaningful healing often unfolds slowly. We live in a culture that values quick fixes and immediate results, but much of the work I do involves supporting deep, long-term transformation. Learning to trust that process—and helping others trust it as well—has been one of my greatest lessons.

Personally, my own experiences with grief and loss have been both my greatest challenge and my greatest teacher. While I would never wish those experiences on anyone, they have allowed me to meet others in their pain with a depth of compassion and understanding that cannot be learned from a textbook.

As you know, we’re big fans of Helper B, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am the owner of Helper B, LLC, a holistic wellness practice dedicated to supporting healing of the mind, body, and spirit. As a Registered Nurse with nearly 30 years of healthcare experience and a Certified Homeopathic Practitioner, I bring both clinical understanding and a deeply compassionate, person-centered approach to my work.

I specialize in Classical Homeopathy, Bach Flower Essence Therapy, Holistic Health Astrology, Compassionate Bereavement Care®, post-trauma companionship, and integrative wellness support. Much of my work centers around helping individuals navigate chronic health concerns, grief, trauma, major life transitions, hormonal imbalances, identity shifts, and the challenges that often accompany profound personal transformation.

The name Helper B carries personal meaning—“B” is what my sister called me—and reflects both a deep connection to her memory and my lifelong passion for supporting others through their own healing journey.

What I am known for is creating a space where people feel truly seen, heard, and respected. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I seek to understand the whole person—their experiences, relationships, emotional landscape, strengths, challenges, and unique expression of health—mind and body. My goal is not to “fix” people but to empower them to reconnect with their own innate wisdom and capacity for healing.

What sets me apart is the combination of professional healthcare experience and lived experience. Having navigated grief, loss, trauma, motherhood, and my own healing journey, I understand that healing is rarely linear. I believe people deserve support that honors both the complexity of their story, but also trust in the wisdom of their body.

What I am most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Time and again, I have the privilege of witnessing people move from surviving to truly thriving—finding greater resilience, self-awareness, connection, and hope. Being invited into those deeply personal journeys is both humbling and profoundly meaningful, and it continues to be the greatest honor of my work.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
There are so many people who have contributed to this journey.

First and foremost, my family and friends have supported me through every season of growth, uncertainty, and expansion. Their encouragement has made it possible for me to continue pursuing work that feels deeply meaningful.

I am also incredibly grateful for my many teachers, mentors, colleagues, and clients. The homeopathic community, astrology community, grief support professionals, wellness practitioners, educators and so many nurses and doctors who have shared their knowledge and wisdom have all helped shape the practitioner I am today.

Most importantly, I owe nearly everything to my clients. Their willingness to trust me with their stories, their struggles, and their healing journeys continues to inspire me every day. It is through serving them that I continue learning, growing, and refining my work. Nothing has touched me more than hearing the feedback from clients on how my work influenced their journey. They are my reason why.
