Hidden Gems: Meet Stefan West of STL Mobile Notary Service LLC / BlackWallstChallenge / Conversation 3.0

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stefan West.

Hi Stefan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Stefan “Self Ruler” West, an entrepreneur, creator, and community advocate who believes in turning purpose into action. My life’s work centers around connection, empowerment, and service, helping people move forward in business and in life with intention and integrity.

As the founder of STL Mobile Notary Service LLC, I built my company with a simple goal: to make professional notarial services accessible, secure, and reliable for everyone. Serving the Greater St. Louis area, we specialize in bringing convenience to people’s doorsteps, whether that means notarizing real estate documents, business contracts, or life-changing agreements. To me, every signature tells a story, and it’s an honor to help people complete some of the most important transactions of their lives.

That same passion for community and economic empowerment led me to create the BlackWallstChallenge on YouTube, a digital movement dedicated to highlighting and supporting Black-owned businesses. The challenge was born from a deep belief that our collective spending power can be a catalyst for real change. Through interviews, spotlights, and storytelling, I’ve used the platform to encourage others to invest in their communities, celebrate local entrepreneurship, and carry forward the legacy of Black Wall Street in a modern way.

Today, I’m also proud to serve as a cohost on “Conversation 3.0” on KSTL Jubilee 690 AM, alongside Evangelist Tammy Renee and Pastor Ro. The show gives us a platform to speak truth, share inspiration, and spark meaningful dialogue about faith, growth, and the human experience. It’s more than radio; it’s a space where real stories meet real solutions.

Across every platform, from business to broadcast, my mission remains the same: to serve with purpose, inspire through action, and help people recognize the power within themselves and their communities. I believe success is not just about what you build, but how you build others along the way.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been several challenges and obstacles along the way that have tested my faith, patience, and persistence. One of the more recent and impactful challenges was the tornado that hit St. Louis City and my street directly, where there was also a casualty. Experiencing that kind of devastation so close to home was a reminder of how quickly life can change.

Despite the storms, both literal and figurative, I’ve chosen to stay positive and persistent. Each challenge has strengthened my resilience and deepened my commitment to serve others with purpose and gratitude. I’ve learned that progress doesn’t always come easy, but perseverance keeps you moving forward no matter what’s happening around you.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At the heart of everything I do is service, connection, and community. Through my company, STL Mobile Notary Service LLC, I provide professional and reliable notarial services throughout the Greater St. Louis area. We specialize in mobile notarizations for real estate transactions, legal documents, business agreements, and personal matters. What sets us apart is our commitment to convenience, professionalism, and trust. We come to our clients wherever they are and handle each signing with care, confidentiality, and respect. I take pride in knowing that STL Mobile Notary Service has built a reputation for excellence and dependability.

In addition to my notary work, I am the creator of the BlackWallstChallenge, a YouTube platform and community movement focused on supporting and promoting Black owned businesses. The challenge was designed to inspire people to be intentional about where they spend their money while celebrating entrepreneurship and economic empowerment within the Black community. It is more than just a project; it is a mission to keep the legacy of Black Wall Street alive and relevant in today’s world by highlighting business owners who are making a difference every day.

I also have the honor of serving as a cohost on “Conversation 3.0” on KSTL Jubilee 690 AM, alongside Evangelist Tammy Renee and Pastor Ro. On the show, we dive into meaningful topics around life, faith, and growth while creating space for honest and uplifting conversation. It is a blessing to be part of something that encourages people to think deeper, live better, and connect through shared experiences.

What I want readers to know is that everything I am involved in, whether it is notarizing important documents, spotlighting Black owned businesses, or sharing wisdom on air, comes from a place of purpose. My goal is to inspire others to take action, invest in their communities, and believe that their contributions, no matter how small, truly matter.

What does success mean to you?
For me, success is not just measured by money or material things. Success is about impact, consistency, and peace. It is about waking up each day knowing that what I do makes a difference in someone’s life, no matter how big or small.

I define success as walking in my purpose and being able to serve others through my gifts. Whether it is helping a client complete an important signing, encouraging a business owner through the BlackWallstChallenge, or sharing a message on Conversation 3.0 that touches someone’s heart, I see success in those moments of genuine connection.

To me, true success is also about growth and balance, continuing to evolve, staying grounded in faith, and remaining grateful through every season. If I can look back and know that I have uplifted people, created opportunities, and inspired others to believe in themselves, then I have done what I was called to do.
