Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started Delicious Delights by Uniqly D’zynd LLC in 2020. The business was started by a bet with my husband. I made cookies for him that he absolutely loved and he said I should sell them. I said no one buys cookies lol. He bet me that we could sell them and we got 5 orders off top. We have been going every since. We have experienced lots of hurdles but we are continuing the journey.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been several challenges along the way. Baking is easy but business must be learned. Dome.of the struggles that we have encountered are consistent customers, getting someone who can grasp the concept of what we need for our website and our biggest hurdle was finding someone who was great with business taxes. We learned that everyone isnt equipped to handle that. Other challenges are that I’m an introvert and I struggle with talking to people at times and usually have to hype myself up.

Delicious Delights by Uniqly D’zynd LLC is a unique cookie company that allows our clients to build their cookies they way they would like based on the mix ins and dough types that are available on the menu. We also rotate our menu to keep the spotlight on speciality cookies that may otherwise go unnoticed. Every cookie is baked with extra love and in a kitchen that is well seasoned in love, worship and prayer!!! We offer custom orders. We offer multiple size cookies including bite size and we cater. We currently do not ship but hope to in the near future.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was friendly to everyone, always loved a good laugh and loved to travel. If I saw someone without friends or sitting alone, I would greet them and make friends. I am from a small town in Tennessee and still hold tight to my southern hospitality. I loved music of different varieties but never like parties/clubs. Home economics was my favorite class in high school and I was a movie fanatic and loved to memorize and quote movie lines.
