Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Loyal Grigaitis
Hi Joshua Loyal, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I opened Pop’s Blue Moon with my Dad when I was 21, back in 1999. Started Loyal Family in 2003, when my projects outgrew the moon and required a brand of its own. Mostly focused on events, live music, graphic design/branding, grassroots promotion, supporting artists/musicians/creatives, and any other good causes I can be of service to. Opened 2720 Cherokee Performing Arts Center in 2009 on Cherokee Street with Davide Weaver and had many others contribute over the years from 2009-2017. Founded Mighty Kind in 2019, to offer quality unsweetened booze-free options to mindful drinkers looking for alternatives to alcohol and sugar. In 2021, we released one of the first hemp-derived THC beverages in the world. Now available in over 1,000 locations nationwide, we also deliver to doorsteps nationwide. Never thought I would say that. What else would you like to know?
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I am grateful for my family and their support. Without them, none of this would be possible. It has not been easy to work for yourself and pave the way for your dreams, but it has been worth it.
We’ve been impressed with Mighty Kind, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mighty Kind makes cannabis seltzers that are booze-free and unsweetened, available infused with CBD or THC. Most beverages in our space have sugar or sweeteners, and many don’t taste good at all. We puts lots of love into our flavors, label designs and love to collaborate with others to make for exciting products. We ship nationwide to your doorstep + we support equality, inclusion and kindness for all.
New DOGMA collab releasing in April!
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Yes all the risks! And all worth it. Take the shot, learn the craft, take the job, quit the job, create the job. Focus on your passion.
