We’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
For the past 15 years, my greatest joy has been creating a loving home for my daughters, filled with everything they dream of, including our beloved furry friends. One Christmas, I surprised them with Lola, a golden retriever. Their reactions—tears, laughter, and pure joy—are memories I’ll never forget. Growing up with a golden retriever myself, this moment held even more meaning. As time passed, the idea of getting a second puppy—another companion for the girls and a playmate for Lola—quickly took root. Despite the challenges of being a single mother and managing finances and responsibilities, I decided to bring home Leo, a miniature poodle. My daughters’ excitement was contagious, and their bond with him grew quickly and deeply. Not long after, life took an unexpected turn and Lola became pregnant with her first litter of miniature goldendoodles. Caring for the puppies was a beautiful extension of our family’s journey, leading to the creation of LouBella Goldendoodles. Today, we specialize in raising healthy, happy miniature F1 and F1b goldendoodles, nurturing each puppy to bring joy and love to their new homes.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been an easy road. As a single mother, balancing work, household duties, and caring for our pets has been overwhelming at times. Financial constraints required creative budgeting, and Lola’s unexpected pregnancy added even more complexity. Yet, these challenges taught my daughters and me valuable lessons in resilience, creativity, and the importance of family. The experience also deepened our bond as a family, teaching us the value of teamwork, patience, and mutual support. As LouBella Goldendoodles began to take shape, we discovered the profound power of community. Through this journey, we’ve built meaningful connections with wonderful families who share our love for dogs. Each interaction has enriched our lives, reinforcing the importance of kindness, trust, and shared values. These experiences have shown us that life’s most meaningful rewards often come from overcoming its greatest challenges.

Networking has been vital to our success, and I’ve learned that building genuine relationships is far more effective than simply growing a contact list. Participating in events like conferences, dog shows, or local community gatherings can be excellent opportunities to meet like-minded individuals and build your network.
