Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Ringhausen.
Paige, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hi there,
My name is Paige (Pruitt) Ringhausen. I was born and raised in the St. Louis Metro Area, and my business and home base are now in Jerseyville, IL.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been creative in some way. If I wasn’t scribbling or doodling around my math homework, I was coding my Myspace page to represent exactly who I was in that moment. At the time, I had no idea those two things would eventually play such a big role in where I am today.
I’m a 2018 graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where I majored in Applied Communication Studies with a focus in Public Relations and a minor in Mass Communication. Even back then, my current role didn’t fully exist in the way it does now. I helped run social media accounts for different groups throughout college, but I always assumed it would simply be one small piece of a larger marketing role.
Fast forward to 2026, and I’m now the owner and Creative Director of Fresh Growth Media — a one-stop shop for social media support. I help manage social media accounts, develop strategy, organize content and photo shoots, assist with website maintenance, and even design invitations for major milestones.
I currently work with clients across a wide range of industries — from service-based businesses to a hemp company. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in what feels like just about every industry, from healthcare to construction, and I’ve even helped influencers maintain their platforms. What I love most about my work is the opportunity to collaborate with and support businesses all across the St. Louis Metro area and beyond.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me outside on a run or spending time with my family. My husband and I have been together for nine years, and we have one daughter together, along with our orange cat and Mini Aussie who keep life entertaining at home.
I’m also an avid thrifter, a year-round iced coffee drinker (it can be 4 degrees and I’ll still have one), and I never miss an episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
I feel incredibly grateful to work in a field I’m passionate about while also having the opportunity to express my creativity every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to where I am today is about as smooth as Kingshighway.
If I look back at the last five years, it’s been full of ups and downs. There was a point in time when I felt really lost in life in general. I didn’t know what to do or where to go. Unfortunately, my path changed after unexpectedly losing my sister. Losing anyone is incredibly hard, but that loss truly broke me.
Over time, I was able to find small moments of light in the darkness and slowly begin processing my grief. Eventually, I reached a point where I felt like my sister could live with and through me in a different way.
She became a huge source of motivation for me to keep going. I would often tell myself, “This is what she would want.” Every risk I’ve taken, especially in building my own path, has felt like there’s a little push from her behind it.
Now that I’m a mom to a daughter, both my daughter and my late sister continue to motivate me to keep moving forward and navigate whatever life brings my way.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Fresh Growth Media officially launched in 2025, but honestly, the seeds were planted back in 2020. That’s when I took on my first client — a close friend who needed help with social media. We ended up trading services: a few posts for some skincare and facials. It wasn’t much at the time, but it was the start of something bigger, even if I didn’t know it yet.
Over the next few years, I slowly started building my confidence. I realized I could actually do this full-time, that I could help brands grow in a meaningful way. Now, in 2026, Fresh Growth Media is my full-time focus. Some clients I manage monthly, taking care of social media from start to finish. Others I help as needed — maybe website updates, video work, content shoots, or just bringing an idea to life.
I also work closely with small businesses and small teams, helping them think through decisions, offering feedback, and brainstorming what’s next for their brand. It’s more than just content — it’s being a partner in their growth, meeting them where they’re at, and helping them figure out the next step without feeling like they have to do it all alone.
What sets Fresh Growth Media apart is how personal and intentional everything I do is. I don’t just create content — I show up for small businesses, helping them think through strategy, make decisions, and grow in a way that feels right for them. I meet clients where they’re at, whether that’s full management or just a little guidance, and I bring the same care and attention to every project that I’ve learned from nurturing my own plants over the years. At the heart of it, I want every client to feel seen, supported, and like they’re not in this alone.
What I’m most proud of is the intention behind everything I do. The name Fresh Growth comes from my love of houseplants and my belief that growth, whether for a plant or a brand, takes care, patience, and attention. When I started freelancing, I bought a monstera plant on clearance — it was almost dead. After a few months of care, it thrived and has been flourishing ever since, sitting right by my desk. That little plant has been a daily reminder of what growth really takes, and it’s inspired how I approach every client and project. I try to give the same care, thoughtfulness, and attention to the brands I work with, helping them grow in their own way, at their own pace.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Honestly, it’s hard for me to even imagine where social media and marketing will be in five or ten years. Just a decade ago, my job barely existed the way it does today, and now with AI, the industry is changing faster than I ever expected.
One shift I do feel confident about is a continued move toward real, authentic content. It’s already starting — people are craving work that feels human, honest, and relatable, not just perfectly polished posts or algorithm-chasing trends. For me, that means creating content that genuinely connects while still being thoughtful and strategic.
I also think marketing will continue gaining respect as a serious profession. It’s a field largely powered by women, and I hope we continue to see that creativity, strategy, and leadership are recognized in bigger ways across industries.
Because some of my clients are in spaces still considered “controversial,” like hemp, CBD, and THC, I also see major shifts happening in how regulated industries market online. That work often requires more than just posting on social media — it means staying up to date on regulations, advocating for fair policies, and helping companies navigate platforms that weren’t really built with these industries in mind.
My hope is that we eventually reach a point where cannabis and hemp companies can market as openly and responsibly as alcohol brands do today. Overall, I see marketing continuing to evolve quickly, but also becoming more respected, more authentic, and more influential in shaping not just brands, but conversations and industries as a whole.
