Kandies Bailey’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Kandies Bailey. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Kandies, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I wake up at 5 am, check messages, emails and get ready for work. I usually listen to music, podcast interviews or motivational speakers while I’m getting dressed. I leave the house between 7:30 & 8:00am.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Kandies Bailey I own KB’S SWEETS. I specialize in cupcakes and I have a coffee and tea brand.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I should be I was a creative person with dreams of being a business owner. I always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Anything that would be discouraging I was told that at 1 time or another during my journey. I kept going even when I felt like giving up.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I have felt like giving up plenty of times but I keep going because I know if I keep going the possibilities are endless.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m comitted to personal growth and the grand opening of KB’S SWEETS COFFEE SHOP.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I only had 10 years left I would stop procrastinating and eliminate all self-doubt.
