Today we’d like to introduce you to Arisha Conrad Aigner Roberts.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
So funny enough, this actually started with a phone call between us. One afternoon, Aigner called Arisha super excited after watching a video about opening a lemonade stand, and Arisha had literally just watched a video about the same thing. We both kind of paused and said, “okay… this might be a sign.”
From there, we just went for it. We started researching, put together a business plan, and naturally fell into our roles. Aigner is really good with people and communication, so she took the lead on finding and booking events, and she moved fast. She had us booked within two weeks. Arisha handled the budgeting and kept everything organized on the back end.
Our mom even joined in and made our shirts and cup stickers, which made it feel even more special. At the events, it is both of us side by side making the drinks and talking to customers.
Now it has been a year. We have done about 15 events, we won a “Best Tent” award in a small town, and we have been invited back to every event we did last year. That has been really exciting for us.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, overall, it has been pretty smooth, especially compared to what you hear from other businesses, but we have definitely had our learning moments.
One of the biggest things we had to figure out was which events were actually worth doing. Not every event brings the same kind of turnout, so learning how to spot the ones with real potential was important.
Then there is the creative side. Figuring out what flavors people actually like versus what we think sounds good has been a fun process. We have enjoyed testing things out and seeing what people respond to.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At the time we started, Aigner was working from home as a prior authorization specialist while also being a full time mom, which is a job on its own. Arisha was in school for Business Administration while working at a credit union and has since graduated.
When it comes to what sets us apart, it is really a mix of both of us rather than separate roles. We both lead with faith, and that has been a big part of how we make decisions and handle challenges. Aigner naturally brings strong communication and connects easily with people, while Arisha leans into organization and planning. At the same time, we both support each other in every part of the business, so it never feels one sided.
What we are most proud of is how something that started as just an idea has brought our entire family together. Arisha’s husband, Shawn, and our mom both play huge roles in helping us be successful. It has truly turned into a family business, and that is something we never expected but really value.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
We always say it is hard to pick just one memory, because for us it was not about one moment. It was about always being together.
We have always been really close and always each other’s support system. When we are together, there is a lot of laughing and a lot of energy. Honestly, it still feels like that now.
That is a big part of why this business means so much to us. It gives us a reason to come together every weekend, have fun, and create something together. It really does feel like an extension of who we have always been.
