Today we’d like to introduce you to Chuck Truss.
Hi Chuck , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Truss the Vision aka TTV is a lifestyle brand based out of Yonkers,NY. We provide a source of motivation for the visionaries of the world. The brand was established in July of 2019 by me, Chuck Truss. It started off as wardrobe consulting business and blossomed into something larger than life within the first three months. Now we develop content, merch, and music. The creative inspiration is drawn from real life experiences of both myself and many others.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The ongoing road to developing the brand has not been easy but I wouldn’t rather have it anyway. Working through obstacles like the pandemic and maintaining a day job have been challenging. However it’s just a reminder to stay consistent because nothing worth having comes easy. When the business feels “difficult” I remind myself this is how it’s supposed to feel.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As of right now I oversee everything involving TTV. From creative direction to deliveries I’m pretty hands on. I feel like one of my specialties is marketing and storytelling in a way that customers can identify with. I’m most proud that all the campaigns we’ve developed for the brand is original. From the concept names to the actual designs. We haven’t used any A.I assistance or pre-made designs.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is consistency will get the brand further than motivation.
