Life & Work with Jennifer Smith of Smithton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Smith.

Jennifer Smith

Hi Jennifer, I’m so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story? How did you get to where you are today?
My beginnings, like many Americans, were humble. I was born into a blue-collar family in Southern Indiana with limited financial resources. Overall, I had a normal, happy childhood. Very early on, I realized I had a “knack” for academics, especially math. It came easy, but I could always put together a process that would yield results and put me in a position of success. “Success” was always in the form of high marks; my grades were impeccable throughout grade school and high school. Being driven academically at a young age set me up for everything I could accomplish professionally. Time and time again, I could always study/research/cram my way through just about anything. After graduating with honors from high school, I attended the University of Southern Indiana and received my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Later on, I was able to complete my master’s degree, which was in business.

As for my corporate career, I was fortunate enough to spend 20 years in the manufacturing sector at a high level, eventually working myself up to a director position with a significant Fortune 500 company. Along the way, I married, and my husband and I have two wonderful sons who are now teenagers. While I was still finding my way in the corporate world, I helped him get his business going, a chain of record stores operating for 20 years. Before I took my leap into entrepreneurial life, our days were filled – like many families – with waking up, hitting the gym early, getting the kids to school, going to work, attending kids’ activities, etc. Then, get up and do it again. It was nothing unusual or wrong, but I started to wonder. Hmm, am I fulfilling my purpose? Of course, raising our boys together is a joy, but we both started feeling a tug in another direction. And long before I made the move. It’s interesting what we choose to value at different times. At the apex of my corporate career, my accomplishments seemed exceptional. Booking corporate jets, traveling to Japan to represent my company multiple times on an international leadership team, and earning salaries and bonuses beyond my wildest dreams were just some things that happened to me. I was blessed in all of it.

Here’s the thing, though. The corporate world offered me a wonderful learning experience, but I often questioned or needed clarification on my purpose. Looking back, I realize that every effort and action I put into my job was an incremental step towards self-development. However, this process requires a great deal of effort, hard work, and a lot of time, and even when you reach the top of what society deems successful, there can still be a sense of unfulfillment. What was the missing piece? It wasn’t until later that I realized I was “an unconscious competent” – that is, I had the skills and knowledge, but I wasn’t aware of how to utilize them in a way that aligned with my deepest values and desires.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve always been fortunate. I must acknowledge that being grateful is a massive part of what I teach and live by. You have to go through some adversity to find out who you are. In the corporate world, I was on a rollercoaster for decades. Results? Sure. “Smooth Roads?” Not so much. If I had continued down the same path, I’m not sure where I would have ended up, but COVID happened.

The year 2019 was an awakening for me. Trapped in the vortex of election news and pandemic reporting, I found myself going down rabbit holes, having my brain twisted in all directions. Even in the corporate world, I witnessed peculiar behavior among employees. Many identify themselves with their jobs and are under extreme stress. It was as if we were all programmed to work like robots, producing spreadsheet after spreadsheet, leaving no room for creativity. We were all self-imposed victims of “golden handcuffs,” desperate to escape the mundane lifestyle. It hit me: we are all programmed to live a certain way, but that doesn’t mean we must follow the path we allowed “society” to impose upon us. Life is a journey of self-discovery and growth. We all have the answers; we must awaken to our true potential.

As I transitioned, I realized that everyone has unique and incredible gifts. I embarked on a mission to learn, experiment, and incorporate this newfound understanding into my daily life. Without this awakening, I would have never find one of my most incredible mentors, Bob Proctor. His guidance as a motivational speaker, success coach, and expert on the human mind was invaluable. I began studying the true human potential and how our marvelous minds work. At the same time, Reiki energy healing began surfacing, and I thought, “What, we are all healers?” I pursued both simultaneously, which was a compelling experience. My academic methods kicked in full force, and I decided to study this, study me, and move forward with proving it. This experience taught me that anyone can become a healer and much more!

Knowing that life is an upward spiral and there is always more to learn, I was drawn to even more mystical teachings – studying the sacred Essene work through the teachings of Divine Oracle, Master Lady Kira Raa, learning ascended numerology, medical intuition, quantum balancing, different methods of how to tap into the quantum field, surfing multiple potentialities and dimensions. During this timeframe, I received numerous energetic gifts, including Mayan, quantum & cosmic attunements and galactic shaktipat.

At times, the transition felt tough and I’m glad I kept a journal to reflect on. I had no major hurdles, just a few hiccups I felt empowered to overcome. I put a whole lot of trust in my intuition. The faith and support I had from Bob and my family helped me fight my fears. Once you can do that and get out of your way, you find your freedom to be what you are meant to be.

At the beginning of the transition, I did worry about what people would think: Going from this fabulous corporate career to the spiritual world. People have trouble understanding my spiritual, energetic rebirth sometimes. I don’t hold it against them, though. It took me nearly 45 years to figure this all out. I understand completely where they’re at. Everybody eventually finds their way, but it’s pretty fulfilling when I think back to where I was and where I am now.

The changes in my life since all of this took place are paramount. I have had the privilege to work with incredible healers, lightworkers & visionaries at the Yucatan peninsula and Mayan pyramids. I have visited some of the planet’s most magical, high-frequency locations, such as Tosa Blue Mountain in Ecuador. I was present for the Pyramid of Peace’s consecration ceremony. I participated virtually with a team of lightworkers at the Egyptian pyramids, where many had exclusive access to the king’s and queen’s chambers, while others participated energetically. Ultimately, this work led to unique Egyptian attunements plus more. It has been an incredible journey of discovery and realization of our full potential. Life has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s all taught me the most important lesson: We all have the power to heal ourselves and manifest whatever we believe. We are, without a doubt, the creators of our reality.

What I’m able to accomplish every day is a gift. By no means was I miserable or even unhappy before my life shift, but comparatively speaking, from a self-fulfillment point of view, the difference in my perspective of life is night and day. Knowing that I can guide others to what they deem to be a fulfilling and happy life while maintaining a virtuous path is such a wonderful feeling.

Thanks for sharing that. Please tell us more about your work.
My work revolves around helping individuals connect with their true selves, teaching them to believe in themselves rather than imposing beliefs on them. Each person has a unique path to realizing that life is much simpler and more fulfilling than we’ve been led to believe. Life is supposed to be filled with joy and ease. The key to achieving this is by working on oneself, approaching life with an open-mindedness, cultivating a strong positive mindset that can weather any circumstance, and living from within – creating from the inside out. Cultivating a strong positive mindset is essential for dislodging limiting beliefs – the paradigms and life scripts we’ve inherited or allowed ourselves to believe and letting go of these limited thoughts and beliefs.

I’ve integrated everything I’ve learned and applied in my life, and I now offer these services to others. As a certified Proctor Gallagher Consultant, utilizing Bob’s teachings lays the foundation for my six-month coaching & mentoring program; I mentor individuals in cultivating a strong mindset and achieving their goals, any goal they choose! No matter how big or small. However, I encourage them to aim for their goals high since it is all possible. I also offer Reiki and Quantum energy healing sessions, designed to help individuals heal physically and energetically by releasing unconscious blocks and trapped emotions and cleansing both the physical and energetic bodies. Quantum healing is the ultimate form of healing currently available on Earth.

As a healer, I am responsible for making people aware of the power within themselves. “A healer is not someone who takes away your pain and dis-ease. A true healer awakens your ability to heal yourself.” I offer Reiki classes, where others can learn the spiritual art of transmitting healing energy through their hands classes on self-healing and how to provide healing sessions to others. Reiki students are offered energetic attunements, which is a beautiful experience. With my life work being healing, teaching, and mentoring, I have dived deeply into learning the power of the mind and energy healing. My ultimate goal is to provide others the tools to begin living the life they envision, being responsible for their thoughts, feelings, and actions, manifesting all the good they desire, and living a happier, healthier, and higher vibrational life! People can choose the mindset coaching services, the energy healing services, or a combination of both!

Everyone is already a powerful manifester! Every aspect of one’s life has been manifested by them.  The crucial question to ask oneself is, “What are you manifesting, and are you doing it consciously or unconsciously?” Unlock the magic of life by investing in yourself! Nothing is more powerful than learning who you are and tuning into the frequencies that match what you want to manifest, matching what you envision your best life to be! All is possible. Stop thinking small. What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create. Step into your power!

I am also co-founder of Meet The Light, Earth’s Virtual Holistic Center.  Where extraordinary Lightworkers from across the earth offer their services & classes with a common goal of increasing the vibrational frequency of individuals and collectively the earth.  Offering distant/virtual healing sessions, classes and transformational coaching.  We welcome all healers and coaches to join!

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check?
Oh yes, there are so many great books; the secrets of the ages are locked up in books. Neville Goddard’s books are great, particularly “The Power of Awareness.” Another go-to is “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. The richness of life! These materials are excellent; read, internalize, and believe it – magical things will happen.
