Life & Work with Lashae Tillis of St Louis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lashae Tillis.

Hi Lashae, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi, I’m Lashae, also known as Yasmine, Born in 2002 and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, I express myself through alternative fashion, creative storytelling, and modeling. As an alternative model and creative, I’m passionate about embracing individuality, dark aesthetics, self-expression, and artistic freedom. My work is inspired by gothic, alternative, and expressive fashion culture, allowing me to create bold visuals that reflect confidence, creativity, and authenticity. Welcome to my world where fashion, art, and identity collide.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As I’ve continued to grow into my role as an alternative fashion model and creative, I’ve learned that this journey is about much more than fashion it’s about self-discovery, confidence, and embracing who I truly am. Over time, I’ve become more comfortable expressing myself through alternative aesthetics, creative storytelling, and modeling. Every experience has helped shape my identity, strengthen my creativity, and inspire me to continue evolving both personally and artistically.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a front desk agent, when Im not modeling or creating content, because this life doesn’t come free, you gotta work to get the life you always dreamed of,work hard does pay off also I like to decorate rooms. I wanna go to school to become a professional interior designer while working hard to become a model, i recently got accepted into a modeling agency so I’m working to make my dream a reality

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Throughout my creative journey, I’ve learned that taking risks is a necessary part of growth. Stepping outside of my comfort zone and embracing new opportunities in alternative fashion and modeling has helped me build confidence, discover my identity, and continue evolving as both an artist and an individual.
