Hi Tatiana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am Tatiana Rose, a passionate Latin DJ of Mexican descent, on a mission to uplift the Latin music scene and inspire young women through my electrifying beats and empowering presence.
Born in Los Angeles, my journey in music was practically predestined. Raised in a family deeply immersed in the world of melodies and harmonies, my roots in music run deep. My Mexican heritage has been a wellspring of inspiration, instilling in me a passion for music that has shaped my destiny.
My life has been a dynamic dance, a rhythmic movement between the vibrant musical landscapes of Los Angeles and St. Louis where I also grew up. This constant interchange allowed me to absorb the best of both worlds, and I am determined to share that fusion of cultures with the world.
My goal is to elevate Latin music even further and empower young women through the universal language of music. I want to inspire the next generation to chase their dreams and break barriers. Music is a powerful tool for change, and I intend to use it to its fullest.
My music is a vibrant fusion of Latin rhythms that capture the essence of my Mexican heritage and the energy of Los Angeles. My sets are a whirlwind of excitement, a testament to my dedication to uplifting audiences and transcending boundaries.
Beyond my infectious beats, I strive to be a symbol of empowerment. I embody the strength and determination to break gender stereotypes in a predominantly male-dominated industry. I’m not just a DJ; I’m a role model, showing young women that they can follow their passions unapologetically.
My journey into DJing was also deeply influenced by my dance career. As a dancer, I felt the power of music to move and inspire people. This led me to explore the world of DJing, where I could not only dance to the rhythms but create and share them with others.
My mission is clear: to bring Latin music to new heights, inspire the youth, and empower women to claim their space in the world of music. My journey is a testament to the power of determination and the unwavering belief in one’s dreams.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Navigating the music industry as a Latin DJ has been quite challenging, primarily because it’s predominantly male-dominated. Breaking into the scene and earning respect has required me to work twice as hard to prove myself and my talent. There have been instances where I’ve faced skepticism and bias simply because I am a female DJ. However, these challenges have only fueled my determination to succeed and empower other young women in the industry.

I am a female DJ, host, producer, Creative and entrepreneur with a passion for blending the vibrant rhythms of my Mexican heritage with the dynamic energy of many other music genres like hip hop etc. I’m known for creating electrifying sets that bring people together and elevate any event. One of my proudest achievements is being part of predominantly male lineups and holding my own in those spaces. A standout moment in my career was opening for rapper Rick Ross, which was an incredible experience. What sets me apart is not just my music, but my commitment to empowering young women in a male-dominated industry and showing them that they too can achieve their dreams.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is inspiring others. I believe in the power of music to bring people together and to break down barriers. By sharing my journey and passion, I hope to empower others to pursue their dreams fearlessly, no matter the obstacles. Seeing others find confidence and strength through my work is incredibly fulfilling and motivates me to keep pushing forward.
