AIGNER, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a St. Louis native; homegrown 🙂 I graduated from Cleveland ROTC in 2003 and went on to serve in the United States Army for several years. My educational background includes military logistics; a bachelors in psychology and Graduate study in Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Forensic Psychology. My professional career stems from working in logistics to investigations, human resources, social work and various areas of health care. I’ve done product and business development for large companies which was a great foundation for me starting my own.
I started Easy Lab Tech nearly 6 years ago! It started out as providing drug testing solutions only and then over time our services progressively expanded to other services. My goal then and now remains to find where there are gaps and to fill them. Our services range from drug testing to biometric screening services; we provide phlebotomy solutions as well as DNA testing! The great thing about Easy Lab Tech is that we not only serve businesses, but we serve individuals as well. For instance, as opposed to similar facilities, a person does not need an order at Easy Lab Tech to submit to a drug test. Business is hard but rewarding; I am fulfilled every day when a customer says “I’m so glad I didn’t have to drive to St. Louis or go to the hospital or Quest Diagnostics to get this done! While we partner with our local Quest and LabCorp facilities, we are a pleasant alternative for services, and I enjoy that customers find us convenient! I look forward to continued success and being a resource for workplace compliance, physicians, court systems and the community!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing in business is smooth! The biggest challenge is being an Owner/Operator and finding a balance. I think I do a good job because I’m versatile in my skillset due to having a history of working in other industries. I try to be relatable but professional and I do my best to treat everyone with the same level of respect regardless of the circumstances. The next big challenge is having working capital to expand services and train others. I am grateful however, for my ability to remain consistent through any storm. I am here, my door is open and services are being provided. That’s all I can ask for.

Easy Lab Tech provides comprehensive phlebotomy, drug/DNA testing, and occupational health services with a focus on quick, personalized service and comfortable, family-owned care. We provide multiple services tailored to individuals and businesses: Specialty & Routine Bloodwork: Unlike traditional hospital systems or large national chains, we accommodate specialty kits from providers like Natera, Boston Diagnostics, and Access Labs. Drug & Alcohol Testing: we offer safe, certified, and fast urine, breath, hair, and nail testing for clinical, insurance, and employer needs. Wellness Services: Services include vitals, body measurements, EKGs, and medical history gathering. Employer Solutions: Mobile and on-site collections, drug-free workplace training, and DOT/non-DOT compliant screenings. Walk-In services are convenient for people who have flexible and strict schedules. Over time, we’ve become a great resource for Physicians who wish to spend more time with their patients and less time managing staff. I am proud to say that our Google reviews are not paid; these are real people with real feedback!
Easy Lab Tech is not a competitor. I think this is what sets us apart from others! We thrive off of partnerships; our partners include Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, Anderson Hospital, local urgent cares and third-party administrators! Whether we borrow supplies, test donors for one another, or when one place is closing and a client can be sent to us or a partner for a service; this is how a community works; this is the partnership! I get referrals from LabCorp facilities just like I give them!
Honestly, I am proud of everything about Easy Lab Tech. The brand, the services, the hard work it took my family and I to operate this and I proud of every challenge along the way. My son Brandon has been a pillar for this clinic, for years. I love how he has regular clients and when he isn’t here and they come in, they ask for him! I’d say that this is where Brandon learned his foundation in professionalism and now, he is on to his next big adventure! It’s not easy working with family but he stuck it out and he is amazing and I’d always be grateful for his commitment and time. It only gets better. Operating a business is a constant brain teaser to try and be creative and well-rounded with the services. I am constantly listening to our customers and even other businesses about what would be great to have access to, and I am building from there! We are happy to announce we will be offering Notarial services by the end of summer, and this includes loan signing services!
