Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela OBrien.
Hi Angela, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my journey as an Entrepreneur about 12 years ago. When I started, I didn’t know much about running a business. I watched my Grandfather do it & so that always inspired me. As a single mother of two daughters, I wanted more for myself and them. I failed so many times along the way, but I am thankful for the lessons because they ultimately led me to where I am today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Whew. It most definitely hasn’t been smooth. I remember when I first started my journey. It was so hard!! Everyone close to me doubted me, talked about me, questioned what I was doing & didn’t support me. I think that was the hardest part in the beginning. When you are on a journey to success, however, you may define it as your search for support from those closest to you. That was my biggest lesson. Then add uncontrollable life circumstances to that. It can be a lot. You must have thick skin and the desire to win so bad that quitting is never an option. I’ve learned the route may change, but you must hold tight to the vision no matter what and keep going.

I’m an Author, Business Credit Coach, Investor & owner of my own car rental company. I have several different programs and ebooks to help scale your mindset and business. The “I Am Angela OBrien Brand” was created to help aspiring and current business owners to become financially independent. I also help set the foundation for our youth when starting a business at a young age. My 14 & 16-year-old daughters both own their businesses as well. What sets me apart from anyone else is that what I teach is what I live. My drive and determination are unmatched. My desire to see other people win has always been in me.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love the most about our city is the culture! It’s unmatched. Our Art scene here is like none other. And I have to add the food here!! Lol
