Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Kaiser.
Hi Christopher, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got started in Poetry in 2009 although I’ve been writing Poetry since I was a little boy I did my first performance in 2010 and from there and I was performing a different open mics Abby game with self published author in 2012 releasing five books that year and from there on I continue writing and performing until I hosted my first open Mike in 2016 for 2016 to 2019. I held down one of Mike 2019. I started my own open my under my name and produce several different shows and since then I have published 24 going on 25 books and more.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been the smoothest road people have tried their best to discourage me to go further as a poet or author trying to find something else to do with myself. He wouldn’t take me seriously I would never get on any shows I would never ask to be featured in the very beginning. I learned to take initiative in my own lane and produce my own shows. Do what I wanna do and then it just nothing was handed to me easily everything I had to work hard for everything I had to train myself, for I had to prove to everyone that I was capable of being a poet author spoken word artist all in one people have tried to silence me tarnish my name, but I won’t let that happen. I won’t back down. I won’t walk away I don’t quit. I don’t give up.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a self published author spoken word poet since 2010. I travel to different cities performing at different open mics. I am an award-winning Poet I have won several wars for my hard work and dedication. I have produced sold out shows for Poet. I have given a lot of Poet a lot of opportunity with my platform with my open mic DAT NEW SHIT. In addition I also gave opportunity to other artists to learn how to host an open mic if they have never I came up with a show call Can I get on the mic? One of my most proud of is that I can produce something that people would always remember and enjoy such as the Kings of Poetry and Queens of Poetry (2019-2022). My first poetry slam I recently did was on April 24, 2026 at Legacy for National Poetry Month. The opportunity to let people believe in their cry. Letting people shine you know that’s what means a lot to me. What sets me apart from a lot of other poets and artists, I believe hard work and I believe in dedication I believe putting time into what I do and strategize and produce greatness. People do it all the time they do great things here, but I really push the button. I’ve been told I made people work 10 times harder. I don’t know about that but I know for me I have made a name for myself with people.
