Hi Darryl, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my manufacturing business after seeing a gap between what customers needed and what was actually available in the market. Early on, I realized that quality, reliability, and consistency were very important, and I found out that customers wanted someone who could machine low volume custom machined parts for just about every industry. I began small—learning every part of the process myself, investing carefully, and focusing on building strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Those early days required a lot of long hours and problem-solving, but they also laid the foundation for how we operate today.
Today, the business has grown significantly from those early beginnings. We’ve expanded our capabilities, improved efficiency, and built a reputation for dependable manufacturing and customer service. What I’m most proud of is not just the growth, but the team we’ve built and the systems we’ve put in place to maintain quality as we scale. We’re focused on sustainable growth, and continuous improvement.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like most manufacturing businesses, we’ve faced our share of challenges—from startup costs and learning curves to supply chain issues and growing pains as demand increased. There were moments that tested our patience and resilience, but each challenge forced us to adapt, improve our processes, and make smarter decisions. Those experiences ultimately made the business stronger and better prepared for growth.
