Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessi Bieker.
Hi Jessi, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Two years ago, I unexpectedly walked away from my job due to unforeseen circumstances. I promised myself two weeks to just breathe and recoup. But after only one week, I was already looking for a new opportunity.
I’ve known the owner of Container Nut since elementary school — back then, he was a monster truck driver, and my dad built his truck. When I learned he was looking for a secretary, I jumped at the chance, interviewed, and got the job! I knew absolutely nothing about shipping containers, but I was eager to learn.
Since then, I’ve grown alongside the company, contributing to marketing, importing, shipping, and working on projects ranging from your average farmer to NASA and all branches of the military. If you had told me two and a half years ago that I’d get excited spotting a random shipping container on the side of the road, I would have laughed — but here I am, and I can’t help it!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly, it has been challenging. Learning an entirely new set of skills while helping grow a multimillion-dollar company hasn’t been a smooth road. I came in with experience in design and marketing, as I run my own business alongside working here, but importing and navigating unfamiliar programs were completely new to me. Thankfully, the amazing team I have here has guided me along the way, making it much more manageable. Even now, we’re constantly learning and adapting to new programs and changes in the world, which keeps us on our toes.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Container Nut?
What started as a simple idea — EZY Wheels, the original shipping container wheels — has grown into something much bigger. Today, Container Nut is the go-to destination for everything shipping container-related, from moving and customizing containers to designing fully custom builds.
What sets us apart? We create many of our own products right here in the USA, from engineering to manufacturing. Sure, copycats have popped up, but our team knows containers inside and out.
I’m most proud of our customer service. Questions? We love them. We might not always have the answer immediately, but we’ll find it — because helping our customers succeed is what drives us.
If you’re dreaming about a container project — even one that’s just an idea in your head — call us. We don’t just sell parts; we help you make it happen. Most of our products are made in Missouri, and while a few are imported when absolutely necessary, we’re committed to keeping production in the USA whenever possible.
We’re not just a store on the internet. We’re container people. From locking containers together with custom parts to building out projects to exact specifications, we know what it takes — and safety is always our top priority.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
We’re already recognized worldwide, but our goal is to become even more well-known in the coming years. We plan to grow the company significantly, and we see nothing but upward momentum ahead. As we continue to embrace new technologies and innovations, our products will only improve, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the industry.
