Meet Jessica Alexander of Saint Louis, MO

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Alexander

Hi Jessica, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am the youngest of 3 kids so I’m the good trouble maker! I spent the first half of my life in St. Charles County but moved to St. Louis County after graduating high school in 2011.

I graduated from Maryville University receiving my Bachelor of Arts in 2015. I’m a pop culture nerd so I love anything that involves Marvel, WWE and anime. I enjoy helping people and spending time with family and friends. I also love baking and I’m a huge foodie addict so I love trying new places in St. Louis!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Most of my struggles in the past came more from mental health. I’ve had my battles with anxiety and I tend to overthink alot. However, I’m just way too stubborn now to give up.

If I set my mind and my heart on something, I will do whatever I can to see it happen.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
So I operate two businesses: I am a Keller Williams Realtor and I own a Photo Booth Business. I started my real estate career in 2018. I wanted to help clients achieve their real estate goals by educating them on the homeownership process and empowering with the right tools for their journey.

My Photo Booth Business, Luxury Bash Photo Booth, began in October 2022. We offer both 360 Booth and Photo Booth experiences. It was actually a 30th birthday gift for myself! I wanted to do something creative and different. I enjoy providing a form of entertainment for guests attending these events!

I find surrounding myself with the right people makes the journey worth traveling. I have awesome mentors and teammates in real estate that coach me to be my best self everyday.

I have an awesome team helping me whenever I’m hired for big events. They help keep me grounded and focused on providing the best service to my clients.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Covid-19 shifted alot of how I operated my real estate business. I had to learn how to pivot as a business owner and create different strategies to still run my business.

Building a business from the ground up takes crazy faith but it’s worth it to see your business grow right before your eyes
