Today we’d like to introduce you to Krista Hartmann.
Hi Krista, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was a music teacher for 19 years becoming a real estate agent full time in 2011. I started my real estate career in central Ohio. When my husband accepted a position in St Louis I had to re-start my business here. It was challenging at first, but I set my goals and kept working toward them. Very soon I was selling over 50 properties per year and in 2019 started the Krista Hartmann Home Team which now has 8 full time agents. In 2025 we sold 275 properties.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Obviously starting in a new market was a struggle, as well as trying different pillars of my business until I found the ones that worked the best. One thing I focused on during my first few years here in St Louis was to meet as many people as possible. I joined networking groups and met more people in fields that could help my clients such as lenders, contractors, etc. Often, because I was top of mind, these new friends introduced me to buyers and sellers that I then helped to purchase or sell a home.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our team of 8 full time agents is located all across the greater St Louis area so we can service any area where we are needed. We are a Zillow Preferred team and enjoyed watching 100’s of our Zillow “leads” become clients and friends over the years. We also work with many people that already know and trust us from our friends, family, and organizations that we belong to such as church and chambers.
We truly care for our clients and want to do our best for them during their sale or purchase. We are continually working on our systems and including the latest technology to make the processes more effective and efficient.
We specialize in buyers, sellers, and investors in all price ranges.
