Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadija Rizvanovic.
Hi Nadija, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Starting at a young age, I learned beauty comes with thought, intent and skills. As I grew older, I thought why not put this stuff I know to the test. In 2024, I started cosmetology school at Grabber located off Route 66/Watson. It took 1500 hours to receive my diploma. I planned on starting my career at DryBar after I graduated in January 2025, so I gathered letters of recommendations and put together a beautiful resume which led me directly into a full time position as a stylist. I have been with Drybar for a year now.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The ride was definitely smoother than I thought it would be. I definitely did not go into it thinking I would be doing things and learning things I already knew. So I guess you can say, I was prepared.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As a cosmetologist I specialize in hair, skin, and nails. I am known for my awards and dedication. I am most proud of the constant photos of my work and I love sharing them on my social media pages. My intelligence and integrity is what makes me stand out.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Facebook has to be my favorite app. It’s taught me how to advertise and how to keep logs of things that I’m doing! I’m a big one for storage so another one of my favorite app is actually Google Photos! I also love editing which I use Instagram for!
