Meet Stacey Bertrand of Speedpro St. Louis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacey Bertrand.

Hi Stacey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I joined the Speedpro family after more than 25 years of leadership experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, and web development. My journey really began at Truman State University, where I earned a BFA in Visual Communications along with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing (BA). That combination of creativity and business strategy has shaped my entire career.

After college, I spent time in the offset printing industry, where I gained a strong appreciation for production, precision, and the tangible impact of well-executed design. From there, I launched my own design company, which allowed me to partner closely with businesses to develop meaningful, strategic brand identities. Along the way, I built a family and became deeply involved in my community — experiences that strengthened my leadership skills and reinforced my passion for helping others grow.

Joining Speedpro felt like a natural next step. My background perfectly complements what we do, enabling me to help clients create powerful visual representations of their brands. I’ve always been passionate about design and branding, but I was excited to scale that impact through Speedpro’s bold, large-format graphics — transforming clients’ visions into immersive, impactful spaces. After all, our tagline says it best: Great. Big. Graphics.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course not — it’s never a completely smooth road. Building a career while raising four kids has definitely come with its challenges. Time management, balancing a household, and leading a business can often feel like a constant juggling act. There are never quite enough hours in the day to get everything done.

But those challenges have also shaped me. Managing a busy family has strengthened my ability to prioritize, stay organized, and remain flexible when plans inevitably change. It’s taught me resilience, patience, and how to lead with empathy — skills that translate directly into how I run my business and support my clients.

While the journey hasn’t always been easy, it’s absolutely been worth it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Speedpro St. Louis?
At SpeedPro St. Louis, we transform spaces, vehicles, and events into powerful brand experiences. While we specialize in large-format graphics, what that really means is we create bold, high-impact visual solutions — from vehicle wraps and wall murals to window graphics, trade show displays, event signage, retail graphics, and branded environments.

As a proudly women-owned and operated studio in St. Louis, our team brings more than 30 years of combined experience in marketing, design, and print production. That blend of creative strategy and technical expertise allows us to do more than just produce graphics — we help businesses communicate visually in ways that attract attention and drive results.

We partner with marketing agencies, event planners, nonprofits, corporate teams, and local businesses to bring their ideas to life at scale. Whether it’s turning a company vehicle into a mobile billboard, converting an office into an immersive branded space, or creating show-stopping event graphics, our focus is always the same: make our clients look exceptional.

What sets us apart is our hands-on, consultative approach. We don’t just take orders — we collaborate. From concept through installation, we ensure every detail aligns with your brand and goals.

Brand-wise, we’re most proud of helping businesses step into boldness. Our tagline says it best: Great. Big. Graphics. But what we truly deliver is confidence — giving our clients the visual presence they need to stand out in a crowded world.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Approach every interaction as a potential opportunity — you truly never know who you might be sitting next to on a plane, standing beside at an event, or meeting over coffee. Relationships matter.

I also believe deeply that hard work pays off. There’s no substitute for showing up consistently and putting in the effort. But if I could share one thing I wish I had fully understood earlier, it’s how important work–life balance really is. It’s not success if you build something incredible and then look around and realize you don’t have the time or people to share it with.

Build the business. Chase the goals. But protect the life you’re building it for.
