Meet Tarah M. Williams of Stalk Your Destiny

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tarah M. Williams.

Hi Tarah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstories.
At age 25, I was a married published author and soon-to-be mother. While in my marriage, I was isolated and lost my identity. At the time, I was seeking healing from child sexual abuse and fighting to find my way back to me,. I was close to God and following His instruction for my life, but I was lost. I asked God Who am I? Where am I? Where am I going? And how do I get there? From that point on, God gave me several businesses to create. I started “Tea Time with Tarah” with a cup of tea and a hot shower. and I then began encouraging myself and others online. I began Stalk Your Destiny in 2015 to help others with Identity, Direction, and Accountability. Stalkers are relentless in their pursuit, yet they go after what does not belong to them. Our destiny is ours for the taking but we forfeit it so easily. Why not be like the stalkers but for a greater purpose, our destiny! Stalkers Don’t Quit.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
During my 8 years in business, I faced events with no attendees and conferences canceled days before the event date.

Some of the struggles I faced included needing to place higher value on what I was offering and what I charged. I learned that by being transparent and straight-forward, I was able to effect more positive change in the lives of others. While helping others, I was overcoming personal battles of my own including divorce, being a mother of 3 sons with special needs, and house-hopping for 18 months. During my 8 years in business, I faced events with no attendees and conferences canceled days before the event date. I am solutions based so I don’t run from challenges. I face obstacles head-on, and I help others do the same.

We’ve been impressed with Stalk Your Destiny, but for folks who might need to be more familiar, what can you share about what you do and what sets you apart?
Stalk Your Destiny is “Connecting You to Your Destiny 1 Step at a Time”. I am here to Mend, Mentor, and Motivate. I help others Navigate Mental Health, Overcome Obstacles, and Publish Books. I advocate for Men, Children, and Mental Health. I am dyslexic and a published author of 11 books. I am OCD and a Chaos Coordinator. I battle PTSD from Narcissistic Marriage and help others identify and navigate healing from the same. I am ADD and able to classify and connect dots where people can’t see the full picture. I battle PTSD from Childhood Sexual Trauma and give love at all costs. I teach others by example to be free to love themselves and love others no matter where they are in their journey. I have created a line of 12 Planners for Accountability. I have published 11 books as tools to help with faith, business, and mindset. I am known for my perspective and point of view and for challenging others through intense, thought-provoking questions. Yet also known for walking along the path as strong support, always ready and available.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Be honest with what works for you and what does not. If you cannot be cheerful in your giving, whether it be time, attention, or investment funds, I say I don’t do it! If I am not happy to connect or learn from someone or if it becomes a hostile situation where I have to defend my thoughts rather than find understanding and be helped or be able to help, I move on. Don’t take things personally. The people who are for you have a season, some longer than others, but allow people to come and go because the more you value the experience, the more you grow! Network with intention and at your pace. Eye on the prize. Use no one. Offer assistance to those who help you. We are all different, so we can all value something from each other.
