Meet Trevion Scott and Dominick Tice of Emerging Business Leaders

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trevion Scott and Dominick Tice. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Emerging Business Leaders LLC was founded in 2023 to create a platform and community to support, promote, and develop business owners. Our founders, Trevion Scott and Dominick Tice, created this organization to educate, promote, and aid in developing community leaders, entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, and like-minded individuals. With a focus on education, promotion, and development, Emerging Business Leaders LLC is committed to empowering entrepreneurs to grow their businesses one sale at a time. Our platform strives to foster growth and success for all members. At Emerging Business Leaders LLC, we are dedicated to providing a supportive community for business owners by coordinating networking events:

1. Our CASH MOB initiative is to visit locally owned businesses and support them financially in large numbers.
2. Our annual Health and Business Expo
3. Events that promote healthy lifestyle choices
4. Our annual END THE GUN Violence Rally

Our goal is to grow our community through the power of networking and collaboration.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No one ever said that life would be easy. But that’s ok because I can take my time and enjoy the journey to success. My team enjoys starting something new and watching it nurture. It’s always going to be times where there’s:

1. Lack of support
2. Others don’t share the passion you have for the vision.
3. You host an event, and only 3 people show up.

There will always be this space of disappointment but room to grow.

What started as a social group dedicated to building personal relationships with God became an LLC overnight. My business partner, Dominick Tice, and I were at a stage where we wanted to grow as business owners. But we also wanted to share the resources we had with like-minded individuals. So, we began recruiting some known associates.

I have Board Members currently have 10 members:

• Founder: Trevion Scott, entrepreneur, preacher, motivational speaker, vlogger, and community activist. Attended Lincoln University of Missouri
• Founder: Dominick Tice, ex-military (did 4 years), entrepreneur, community leader. Attended Lincoln University of Missouri
• President: Johnelle Brown, entrepreneur/community activist

Our Media Team:

• Chairman of our media department: Rasdih Troupe( entrepreneur, graphic-design artist, educator, and community activist, and attended Langston University
• Co-Chair: Donald James is a renowned photographer, artist, and community activist, and attended University of St.Louis
• Website developer: Chris Perry is a community activist, graphic designer, and entrepreneur, and attended Columbia College
• Current board member: Katrece Lomax, entrepreneur, realtor, hairstylist
• Board member: Jauan Scott, entrepreneur and community leader, Attended Lincoln University
• Board member: Derricka Wilson, entrepreneur, community leader
• Board member: Marissa Yarbrough, entrepreneur, podcast host, and community leader.
• Board member: Tyron Brown II, artist, vlogger, social media influencer, and entrepreneur.

Our board consists of entrepreneurs and community leaders invested in seeing change in our community. Many of our events are free to the public. Most events are centered around educating and inspiring entrepreneurs, encouraging young entrepreneurs, mentoring, and supporting them. We are looking to tear down the stigma that is gatekeeping. My goals are simple: support, promote, and educate others. Anyone can become a boss!

What do you like and dislike about the city?
Likes:

1. Our city is filled with ambitious entrepreneurs with big dreams
2. St.Louis supports its own
3. There are so many small business owners
4. The opportunities are endless

Dislike:

1. There are no dislikes in “We Love Our City.”
