Rising Stars: Meet Rolando Boyd

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rolando Boyd.

Hi Rolando, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well-being completely honest it started a long time ago when I was a street kid wanting more than my little town (Madison) could offer always had big dreams of being successful just didn’t know how I would complete it just at that time so like all young men I dabbled in the streets doing stuff you couldn’t pay me to do now learning the lessons & became wiser and found a way of incorporating into today’s life I’m leading now so to answer the question

My music career started in a barbershop

It was another rapper doin’ something at that time I asked him to make a song with me because I like music and really wanted to do it maybe it was a way for me to start but the guy told me I suck would never do a song with me, therefore, making me transform into Hd Ro I knew I had to make it because he said I can’t do that was enough ammo to keep me striving to prove him wrong never did this for fame or money really only to prove a point and I kinda overachieved LOL

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely has not been smooth the support systems was horrible nobody really have beliefs or wanna execute they dream so they most certainly won’t help you live out yours plus it’s a million other people trying do what you’re doing plus real-life always remind you the losses family & friends especially losing my business partner Chase so I just had to overcome all the odds numerous times helping others then they run off you name it nine times out ten it really happened

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
“Can’t make this up” my catchphrase what I’m known for I definitely started out as an artist but I’m gonna finish a CEO Live That Life Entertainment is my record label that I started when I did music as an artist now I have musicians/artist on my label 350Honcho great artist doing well on radio got to work with Dj Drama etc being recognized and able to travel and do what I love help turn a great kid into a superstar will definitely set us apart but by far my most proudest moment when I took my mother & my family to New York and went to a restaurant I went to a year earlier and he closed it down for us and gave us all our meals for free one of the best highlights

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
